The Plattsburgh United Methodist Church on Beekman St is in need of community support to "raise the roof" over its community ministries, including head start, interfaith food shelf, scouts, AA, NCGA, and a variety of other organizations Pastor Paul Richards and its membership is adamant that these services continue. The building is more than 60 years old and the rood over its sanctuary has been replaced. Roof repairs over its community services are no longer sufficient and it will cost $200,000.00 to replace it ! The church will cover as much of the cost as possible by selling two lots on Jerry Drive and has applied and received a $25,000.00 grant that needs to be matched by local donors. Further information can be secured by calling the church office 9am-12pm or by contacting Rev. Marty Connor at connormartha110@gmail.com. Checks payable to the church should note on the memo line "Roof". Thank you for whatever you can do to help us get the word out I can be reached at 518-534-1779 Martha Connor
